It was a foggy day in December, 2024.
Bitcoin had recently topped $100k and our bags were full.
We felt a keen sense of understanding that others, many, many others in our community and around the world were not fairing quite as well as we were. We knew that money didn't buy as much as it use to and we knew that people all over the world were making the hard decision to go without the uneccessary extras this year.
Those uneccessary extras that bring a small comfort and a bit of joy to an otherwise difficult time.
Still others were going without some of their basic essentials...
And Christmas was near.
We were suddenly overcome with the holiday spirit of giving and bringing joy and comfort to others and Bitcoin Santa was born!
We cashed in some Bitcoin and other Crypto, got a Santa Suit, and started buying gifts- for people we didn't know.
Then we thought it would be a wonderful idea to create a website where others from the Blockchain and Crypto community could donate crypto that would be used to purchase essentials (and some uneccessary extras) for those less fortunate children and adults around the world.
